Detroit Reunion

After DC, Talia visited her family in Detroit. If anything is more fun
than hanging with cousins Natalie and Charlie and their folks and
friends...

... it's re-discovering the awesome toyland they call home.

But there was also time for a nature hike...

... and a trip to visit Thomas and Friends at a special theme park.

See for yourself here.

Of course, cousin Natalie is the best hostess ever.

And some moments were just so special...

... you just have to see and hear them for yourself.

Thanks to all our Detroit hosts for a spectacular time!

Amusing DC

Just before her fourth birthday, Talia visited her family in DC and Detroit.
(More about Detroit in the next post.)

In DC, she had lots of fun entertaining the cat (Jonah), dog (Shamah), and Papi's folks.
As well as the usual park and monkey bar circuit.

She also visited the Six Flags amusement and water park.

Ready for the roller coaster

And for the balloon ride

In fact, Talia was ready for everything.
You WILL get wet on this one

Fourth Birthday Party

Talia had her rock star party at Run + Fun, an indoor playground. She
invited several of her friends from school, the Kid's Club, and her
neighborhoods.

Eddie, the balloon twister, was busy with constant requests

Giggling was involved

The cake tasted better than it sounded

Back home, Talia rocks out with that special guitar

104+

Yes, it's getting warm out here (and all over the country).

But the Monkey Bar Princess is even hotter.

After her break-through performance in DC this spring (here), she followed-up this week with a new personal best. See for yourself here.

And don't miss her athletics highlight reel here.

Lifeguard

Hopefully, Talia will not need these skills this coming week. But it's good to know she's ready.

Rapid Progress

Talia has always loved water sports.

But one day last week,
she decided to take it to the next level.

Talia will undoubtedly be giving demos
of her latest feats in North Carolina. And
inventing some more.

So just consider this a preview.
See for yourself here.

(In case you're wondering, these photos have
nothing to do with the subject at hand. They're
completely gratuitous.)

Resolve

It's a bird, it's a plane...

As Talia says, "Practice makes perfect".

Spring Fling

Think Easter bunnies and egg hunts
are the biggest deals at spring festivals?

Well, OK. Yeah. But also art,

athletics,

and creativity.
